This is what I have learnt about Web 1.0 and Web 2.0.
Web 1.0 is an earlier version of Web 2.0. It works by one person adding all the data on the webpage. No other person could do that. Thus, all the responsibility of updating the webpage is on one single person.
In Web 2.0, however, anybody can update the webpage and so everybody is responsible for updating the webpage. Examples of Web 2.0 are Wikipedia.
